CODY
Cody is one of the best ponies we have ever come across! Cody has carried many students to their first ribbon, and his laid back personality wins EVERYONE over!
He is 7 yrs old; his dam is a POA and his sire an appaloosa. He definitely got his father’s spots, and has floored many of the judges in the color class.
Cody’s favorite treat is a carrot, but to tell you the truth he will eat just about anything! Red Gatorade is another of his favorites, and it dyes his nose red…he he. Anyone can ride Cody, and will have a great time doing it.

CHULA
Chula is our pint sized lesson pony! Chula is an 11 yr. old Shetland/ Welsh cross. She looks like a little blonde princess and acts like it too! She pulls a little cart, and students always leap for an opportunity to help with that.
Chula started her horse show career off with a bang, check out the winner’s circle page! She is a great ride for the pint-sized riders, because she has smooth gates and a fun personality!
Chula likes to eat carrots and horse cookies.

Jammin
Jammin (Jamupandjellytight is her registered name) is a 3 yr old appendix quarter horse filly that stands about 15.1 hands.
She has a very sweet personality, and does her best to take care of her rider. She looks like Black Beauty, thus she is a favorite on the farm. Jammin has been at Blue Vista since she was 4 months old so she thinks she is a human. I personally think she would rather live in the house than outside.
Due to her age only intermediate and advanced riders normally ride her. Although, her mind is so good anyone could ride her.

Blue Vista offers
horsemanship courses that teach the students horse safety, proper riding techniques, horse anatomy, tack maintenance, and MANY other things!
We change the course agenda each time so that the students can retake this course as often as they like and ALWAYS come away a better horseman!
We divide students into different groups according to their skills so that we can focus better on their needs.
